Radio personality Aljon Go and musician Jaux King are throwing a party to break last year’s record of the world’s largest pedal board while raising money and awareness for the National Kidney Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

Gopher Entertainment Group, ToneFreq.info and GearTrap.com present The World’s Largest Pedalboard Party 2.0. The event will premier the record breaker pedal board and party goers will enjoy feature performances from bands: Flight Case for Sushi, Philos and Jones World, Holy Crap and The Rust.

Top manufacturers will be on hand at the event to demonstrate their related products.

Nashville guitarist, Stanton Adcock (Courtney Jaye, Roman Candle) will be on hand to demo Core X2 and Bullet Cable Solderless cable systems as well as have his own pedal board which he has set up with both brands in place of another respected brand that he has used for years.

“My rig sounds fantastic! To be honest, I really didn’t expect such an incredible improvement in my signal & guitar tone from just switching to new cables. I’m blown away!” ~Stanton Adcock

Core One Creative has contributed over $1400.00 in connectors and bulk cable to be used on the World’s Largest Pedal Board and to be auctioned off during the event. The proceeds will benefit the National Kidney Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

Nashville guitarists/bloggers Aljon Go and Jaux King recently made plans to build, operate and claim the record for the world’s largest pedalboard. On June 18, 2008 they both set the world’s record successfully playing guitar using a board that included 142 pedals.

“It started out as a laugh. Now it’s become a reality. I just wanted to push the technology as far as it could go and see how insane it can get. This extraordinary pedal board is far from practical, but every pedal is operational. This has become a celebration of the advancements in guitar technology and innovation. It will be a great party. What a great time to be a guitarist!” ~ Aljon Go

Beside Aljon and Joe there will be a number of clinicians and session players who will play the World’s Largest Pedalboard: Bart Walsh (David Lee Roth), Tony Pasko (RockHouseMethod/Gear411), Bryan Lionman (Creation Audio Labs), Rikk Beatty (DigiTech) and Stanton Adcock (Courtney Jaye). Other special guests and pedalboard partners will have a chance to play through it during the evening. Last year there was a surprise performance by Seymour Duncan. Attendees will also get a chance to get their pictures made with the board.

As to what will be played, we can expect a few notable key riffs.

The World’s Largest Pedalboard Party will be held at The Rutledge, 410 4th Ave. South, Nashville on Thursday July 16th. Doors will open at 6 p.m., is “smoke-free” and an 18 and up event. The silent auction and music starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $7/ $5 with NAMM badge.
